Why WOULD anyone want Socialism to succeed ? Maybe because they do not know the definition of socialism?!!
Our government ‘controls’ enough as it is….do the people Really want their private property and their income controlled or taken by the Government?
Ohhhh, perhaps it is the people who do not want to Work for what they Get..they want the government to Hand it to them. I see now.

Where did you people learn your politics? Please would someone please explain what socialism is to these people. First off, the government barely controls anything in this country. Over 95% of this country is private enterprise. How can socialism be related to greed, ignorance or low self esteem? Please tell me, enlighten me with your grand ignorance. Greed is capitalism, the ol’mighty Milton Friedman has stated that. Ignorance? would that be the same ignorance that allows the free market to go highly unregulated or watched while the top 10% and corporations rip money and jobs from our own people? The same ignorance that allows companies to control our politicians, our media, right and left? Reagans poorly thought out economic ideas relied way to much on the people to act in good faith, instead we ended up with 25 years of decline in the workforce, a shift to crappy service related jobs, the destruction of manufacturing in this country, and the middle class. So yes, indeed lets keep it up, I really mean that, I want to see the day that this greed of money and freemarket capitalism rips us apart and destroys us all. We will decline as a country, its going to happen. Its just a shame it wont be because of progressive taxes, or social service programs like education or healthcare, it will be because the rich, powerful 10% will feed us to each other, while sitting on their islands or up in their mansions. The government is the people you retards. We are the government. Its not some entity that cant be trusted, unless we allow it to be. We are the government, we control who they are and what they do. Your fear should be the ignorance of clinging to failing economic philosophy like extreme capitalism or communism. If you dont progress, you will be regretting it in the future. Waynes right about one thing, greed has lead to a decline in manufacturing jobs and a switch to “crappy service related jobs”. Where Wayne is mistaken is that this greed doesnt stem from the exectutives who have worked hard their whole lives to get into a position which is lucrative and rewarding. No this greed stems from the unions who demand outrageous wages for remedial jobs and keep workers employeed even if their behavior and work ethic would get them fired if they were not in a union. The leaders of industry will get paid no matter what and the goverment has no business controlling that. The free market is capable of balancing itself and we would be far better off without goverment interference. The problem with liberals is that they think we are all idiots and we cannot make take care of ourselves. They feel like they are smarter than the rest of us and should be allowed to decide how our lives should be run.
