On March 19, 2007, Rush Limbaugh has an Al Sharpton impersonator
sing “Barack, the Magic Negro” to the tune of “Puff, the Magic Dragon.”
Limbaugh defends the use of the song stating, “Well, that’s what we
always do here. We do parodies and satires on the
idiocy and phoniness of the left.”
“He is exaggerating the effects of the disease. He is moving all around and shaking and it’s purely an act… This is really shameless of Michael J. Fox. Either he didn’t take his medication or he’s acting.”
– Rush Limbaugh on his radio show, October 23, 2006
“I’m here to tell you, if either of these two guys [Huckabee or McCain]
get the nomination, it’s going to destroy the Republican Party,
it’s going to change it forever, be the end of it.”
